Welcome to COTTON & LOOM LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) explain how you may use our website and purchase products from us.
By using www.cottonandloom.com or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms along with our Privacy Policy and Returns Policy.

3. Prices & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery charges are displayed before checkout.
We reserve the right to update prices or promotions at any time, but confirmed orders will be charged at the price displayed when you placed your order.

Payment must be made in full at checkout through the secure methods provided.
You confirm that the payment method used belongs to you or that you are authorised to use it.

 


 

4. Orders & Contract

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We will acknowledge your order by email, but this does not mean acceptance.
A contract is formed once you receive a dispatch confirmation email.

We reserve the right to cancel any order before dispatch if:

  • The product is unavailable,

  • Payment cannot be processed, or

  • There is an error in pricing or product information.

If your order is cancelled, you will be refunded in full.

 


 

5. Delivery

We deliver within the UK and to selected international destinations.
We aim to dispatch all orders promptly; delivery times vary depending on location and courier services.

Risk and ownership of goods pass to you once the products have been delivered to you (or a nominated recipient).
We are not responsible for courier delays or events beyond our control such as postal strikes, customs delays, or severe weather.

 


 

6. Returns & Refunds

We offer a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging and condition.

  • You must contact us at hello@cottonandloom.com within 14 days of receiving your order and provide proof of purchase.

  • The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return delivery and must use a tracked postal or courier service.

Please note:

  • Refunds are not available for sale items, unless the product is faulty.

  • For international returns, the customer is responsible for all shipping, customs duties, and import taxes related to returning the item.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note, your bank or payment provider may take additional time to complete the transaction.

 


 

7. Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted if the item is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging.
Exchange requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the return postage using a tracked delivery service.

For international exchanges, customers must also pay our standard delivery rate for the replacement item to be shipped.
We will confirm the applicable rate before dispatching the exchange.

 


 

8. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact hello@cottonandloom.com within 30 days of receipt.
You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
This applies to both full-price and sale items.

 


 

9. Statutory Right to Cancel (UK Consumers)

In addition to our 14-day return policy, UK customers have a 14-day legal right to cancel online orders under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
You have 14 days from the day after you receive your order to cancel and return it.

You are responsible for arranging and paying for the return delivery, unless the item is faulty.
Refunds will be issued once returned items are received and inspected.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, logos, images and graphics, is the property of COTTON & LOOM LTD or used under licence.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Your statutory rights under consumer protection law

We are not responsible for:

  • Losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of purchase

  • Business or commercial losses (we sell to consumers only)

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

 


 

13. Events Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as courier delays, strikes, or extreme weather. We will notify you and minimise any impact where possible.

Orders placed before any change will remain subject to the Terms in effect at the time of purchase.

 


 

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
